A nature lover, Susan found pottery to be a wonderful place to play in the mud.  Believing that this was an art that could bring joy to many, she built CIY.  With the mentoring from talented local artists, help from friends and family the concept was brought to life in August 2024.

CIY is a creative hub located in Ashburn, VA, where individuals can explore the world of pottery and specialty arts. The acronym stands for “Create It Yourself,” reflecting the studio’s mission to foster a collaborative environment for both beginners and seasoned artists.

  • Friday 10AM – 6PM

  • Saturday 10AM – 5PM

  • Closed Sunday
