Erin McQuary

Erin McQuary is a local area potter from Hamilton Virginia,she has been practicing all areas of pottery for the last 12 years. Erin is currently an instructor at Round Hill Arts Center where she teaches a beginners wheel throwing class, she is also owner and operator of her home studio Mudchurch Pottery.

Erin’s body of work focuses on functional pottery for everyday use. She creates pieces that are meant to share between family and friends, whether it be a serving dish for a holiday meal or that special mug you have your morning coffee in. Erin touches her pots every step, from conception to the final firing and lives by the philosophy: surround yourself with handcrafted things-with art-and your life will change.

Erin currently resides in Hamilton Virginia with her husband and young son.
